As we move to the modern desktop environment with Microsoft we are looking at OS as a service. Part of the new Microsoft 365 Skus allow you to perform a Windows 10 Upgrade from Windows 7 Pro, and Windows 8, 8.1. Note this does NOT include Windows Home. Also note that this is an UPGRADE not the actual OS itself. Beyond creating  bootable media like a flashdrive or USB, we need to look at automation to deploy on a mass scale.
